Southern Hospitality... from our Home to Yours
The pineapple has long been the symbol of hospitality and it is no coincidence that the pineapple is in our logo. Growing up in Savannah, Georgia, I’ve always been led to hospitality. From planning events and hotel stays to working in a small country hospital, there has always been a thread of hospitality woven through all that I’ve done.

And candle making is no different. Bonna Bella handcrafts natural soy candles with safe ingredients that we feel comfortable using in our own home. Our thoughtfully selected fragrances welcome you to savor the moments and relive the memories. Whether you are enjoying our candles in your own home or giving our candles as gifts, we hope that the spirit of hospitality in Bonna Bella Candles will shine through to you and your loved ones.

How We Started...
My husband and I honeymooned in Key West and the resort we stayed in had a magnificent candle burning in the lobby. We knew we had to buy one to take home with us! Now every time we light the candle, we are taken back to the wonderful time we had in Key West. I wanted to create that same experience in my hometown using quality ingredients and unique designs. So in 2019, I set out to create Bonna Bella Candles.

I have always had a love for Savannah and the Low Country - the beauty, the history, the ocean. Scent is so strongly tied to memory that I wanted a candle line that would bring back memories of Savannah and Coastal Georgia for not only visitors but also locals like myself. The smell of gardenias blooming, fresh pralines from the candy store, salty shorelines. And many other fragrances that will help create new memories like the ones I made while in Key West.
How We Make Our Candles...
Our candles are hand poured locally in small batches with quality ingredients that we feel comfortable having in our own home. We use 100% natural soy wax from soybeans raised by American farmers. Soy wax is clean burning and doesn't emit harmful chemicals like paraffin wax does. Soy wax is longer burning as well. We use cotton wicks that are lead free and zinc free. Our fragrances are free from carcinogens, reproductive toxins, and other potentially hazardous chemicals often found in fragrance.
